About the Port Angeles Education Foundation

Our vision is for every child in Port Angeles to have full access, free of barriers, to reach their full potential.

Since 1991, we have worked to ensure every child in Port Angeles public schools has equal opportunities for a quality education. As a tax-deductible, 501(c)3 organization made of volunteers from the community, we work closely with teachers and administrators to fill gaps that aren’t covered by the district’s budget. We provide direct financial support to students and their families, grants to teachers to fund innovative projects and programs, and scholarships to help our graduating seniors get to, and get through, college.

As a school district with a high percentage of children in need, we know that the future of our community rests with our ability to help each student reach their full potential. At a time when school districts and families are struggling, we are committed to lowering barriers by building private/public partnerships between individuals, businesses, corporations, and community groups.
