Spark a child’s imagination!
We believe in creating dynamic learning opportunities for students in our community. From field trips to performing arts to innovative classroom experiences, the Foundation supports programs for all grade levels across the district.
Since 1991, we have funded hundreds of trips to museums, performances, and government facilities, like the Clallam County Courthouse and the Washington State Capitol so students can see our government in action and learn key citizenship lessons.
We’ve also funded exciting STEM programs, allowing our students to experiment in engineering and design, attend University of Washington symposia on a variety of topics, and learn about what it takes to care for aquatic wildlife at local and Puget Sound aquariums and zoos.
Port Angeles’ visual and performing arts programs are among the best in the region, with students showcasing their talents throughout our state as well as on the national stage. The Foundation has been there every step of the way, supporting our students with grants to help fund performances, collaborations, and workshops designed to foster the imagination and refine performance skills.

During the 2018-19 school year, we are funding 30 projects totaling more than $40,000 throughout the district, ranging from monthly hands-on science field trips for middle- and high-school students to expanding the elementary school xylophone collection in order to deepen students’ musical experience.
